Our durum wheat

Il Torrione is the production unit specialized in the cultivation of durum wheat.

The land is located on the hills of Spinetoli (AP) facing the Adriatic Sea. The fresh sea winds allow the harmonious growth of the ear, guaranteeing the excellent quality of the product.

We produce both modern grains of the best varieties such as Marco Aurelio and Marakas and the ancient Senatore Cappelli variety using organic methods.

The product is sold with supply chain contracts to renowned pasta factories.


We apply the organic cultivation technique of rotation. After harvesting, the land is not cultivated for the following year but left to rest.

A peculiarity of the Monti Farm is the free grazing of the herd on its land in the non-cultivation year. The sheep provide natural fertilization  and  control the growth of the grass.
